He could be a good support super soigneur but Vista put all their eggs in one basket when Roglic left. If Vinge is not ready and Tadej burnt from the Giro, then I'd say it's on the edges of possibility. He'll most probably be remembered as "the best rider to never have won the Tour".

As a Dane I hope he can win if he competes, but I don’t wanna see him struggle and not able to perform. Then it’s better to come back in 2025. Jonas and pogacar is setting the TDF alive and I hope we all can enjoy the spectacle of them competing. It’s a magnificent performance to watch them compete ❤

it's hard to say, sometimes riders comeback good as new, sometimes they don't, a la chris froome. one things for sure, cyclists are tough fkers compared to say footballers who cry at any opportunity and can't play more than two 90 min games in a week without whinging they are overworked lol, so if he can, he will, that's for sure and i look forward to seeing him either at this years or next years TdF depending on his condition. Whether he can compete in the TDF, or win it again, that is what remains to be seen. Those kind of injuries, combined with the massive expectations on him, may make him hold off for a while longer than his fans wish.

He should do the Tour. But, the team needs to be prepared for not seeing him on the podium. A top 5 might be a good recovery result.
